Real Estate Broker, Ali Wenzke, Baird & Warner
I became a real estate agent because of you
After ten moves in eleven years, I know how hard moving can be. I’ve been helping readers and clients throughout the decluttering and moving process for years, but I wanted to do more. You are the reason I became a real estate broker. Even though I am based in the Chicago area, I want to help you buy or sell your home no matter where you live to help make your move less stressful. Luckily, I have an amazing network of real estate agents around the world, and I would love to connect you. Just reach out to me.
I joined Baird & Warner because of you
I became a real estate agent with Baird & Warner because of the company’s values. The company’s slogan is “It’s easier here.” You know I’m all for making moving as easy as possible. Baird & Warner is the largest independent and locally-owned brokerage in Chicago, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you
I love what I do. Every day. They say work doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do, and I can attest to that. You make me so happy. Thank you.

Hi! I wrote the book on moving, The Art of Happy Moving: How to Declutter, Pack, and Start Over While Maintaining Your Sanity and Finding Happiness (William Morrow, 2019). I am also a real estate broker at Baird & Warner in Winnetka, IL.
Although it may sound like an oxymoron, I believe in Happy Moving. It can be done. However, I know when you throw buying or selling a home into the mix, it can feel overwhelming. Whether you are a first-time home buyer, relocating, upsizing or downsizing, I can help you through the process. I promise to make your move as stress-free and happy as possible.
My decluttering and real estate tips have been featured on TV, radio, and podcasts as well as in Forbes, NPR, U.S. News & World Report, Today.com, Real Simple, Fast Company, Parents magazine and many more. I’ve been called the “Marie Kondo of Moving”, which is as high an honor as they come, and I am excited to help you through the home buying or home selling process. It’s going to be a fun one.
In the midst of my many moves, I graduated from Harvard College and Stanford Law School. I am also a native Spanish speaker.
Please contact me so we can start decluttering right away, regardless of whether you are buying or selling your home. I look forward to working with you on your happy move.
